About the Hearts to A.C.E. Decked Out 5K Run/Walk

This is a costume-encouraged race, and runners take that seriously. You can come dressed as a playing-card character or whatever you like, and there is a prize for the best outfit on the course. The proceeds go toward a scholarship for local high school seniors who have pushed through serious hardship, so the race has a purpose beyond the finish line.

Packet pickup is available the day before at the Troutman ESC Park Pavilion on North Avenue, with race-day pickup also an option. Same-day registration is offered if you decide to join at the last minute.
