About the Heart Throb 5k

The course runs through Johnny Roberts Memorial Park, not far from Olde Town Arvada. It stays flat the whole way, which makes it a natural fit for anyone shaking off winter rust or just wanting a brisk morning out. The food drive raffle is a nice touch: bring a few canned goods and you are entered to win prizes from local businesses.

Parking is easy, with space at the park itself and on surrounding streets near City Hall and the post office. There is an option to pick up your packet the evening before the race, which keeps the morning simpler. Race-day registration and late pickup open before the start, and awards happen at the pavilion shortly after everyone finishes.
