About the Heart Throb 5k

This Valentine's Day race in Terre Haute raises money for the local YMCA, supporting youth scholarships and their annual campaign. The awards go beyond the usual age groups to include a fastest couple category, where combined finish times determine the winner, so some people do show up and race together.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Vigo County YMCA, and race-morning pickup is also available there. The YMCA location means child watch is on site during the race, which is a practical detail if you are bringing kids along.
