About the Healing Heart Hustle 5K

The course starts and finishes at a university student union building in Fort Wayne. It is a benefit run for a local children's grief support organization, so the crowd tends toward families pushing strollers and wagons. The post-race gathering moves inside the student union, where there are snacks, games, and snow cones.

Packet pickup is available the evening before the race at the grief support organization's own facility, and again on race day at the student union before the start. Parking is in a nearby campus garage. Day-of registration is open for anyone who decides to join at the last minute.
