About the Haunted Wine Run 5k at Busse Woods

The course at Busse Woods runs flat through the forest preserve, which makes for an easy effort on the legs even if you are not pushing hard. It has a Halloween theme, so costumes are part of the scenery. The finish brings a pour of wine, and age group awards are decided by results posted online rather than an on-site ceremony.
