About the Haunted Halfie 2026
The course starts at a community college campus, moves through tree-lined neighborhoods, then picks up a paved trail along Bear Creek before finishing inside the campus field house. That indoor finish is worth knowing about: you cross the line under a roof, which is unusual and a little dramatic on a cool fall morning. Runners show up in costume, and there are themed cheer zones along the route.
Proceeds go toward local mental health organizations, so the race has a specific cause behind it. The finish area includes vendors and Halloween-themed activities, making it a longer stop than most road races.
