About the 2026 Haulin Aspen
The course runs entirely on trail through the Deschutes National Forest outside Bend, with no pavement anywhere. Expect single track, steep climbs, and fast descents through pine forest at high elevation. The terrain shifts enough to keep you honest, and the views open up across the Cascades on the way. Several distance options are available, including a relay format new to the marathon this year.
The race starts and finishes at Wanoga Sno Park, which gives you a clear base for parking and post-race. Relay teams exchange at designated aid stations along the course, so if you are running support for someone, those are your landmarks.
