The course uses both paved and unpacked gravel surfaces, so the footing shifts a bit as you go. Marshals are posted along the route, which helps on roads that may have some traffic. The race finishes at the Lions Club Fall Fest, a community festival, so there is food and drink waiting when you cross the line.
