About the Run for the Hills
The course runs entirely off-road through an orchard, then pushes out into surrounding woods and fields before looping back. It has real terrain changes and is honest about being challenging. The shorter option stays within the orchard itself, on trails that wind between the trees.
The start area is a working farm property, and the post-race spread is there at the barn. Proceeds go toward land conservation in the area, so the open fields and woods you run through are part of what the race is trying to protect.
