About the Hartford Track Club Quarter Marathon

The course runs on paved trails around the West Hartford Reservoir, looping through the park a couple of times to cover the quarter marathon distance. It is a well-marked route with a single aid station mid-loop. The surface is smooth and the setting is park scenery the whole way.

Parking is free at the reservoir lot, but it fills up fast since it stays open to the public during the race. Carpooling is encouraged. There are post-race treats at the finish, and age group awards go several deep in each category.
