About the Hare of the Dog 2 Mile Run/Walk

The course is entirely paved and runs out and back through Bridgeway Station, crossing a bridge and connecting to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. It is mostly flat, with one short hill near the finish. Dogs are welcome on the course, and the vibe reflects that: expect leashes, kids, and a general sense that nobody is taking themselves too seriously.

Packet pickup opens about an hour before the start at the race site. There is beer at the finish line. Age group awards are announced a bit after the race wraps, so there is reason to hang around after you cross.
