About the Hampstead Kiwanis Park Turkey Trot
The course runs through Hampstead Kiwanis Park, a large donated property that serves as both the start and finish. Runners can choose between a longer timed race and a shorter timed distance, while younger kids get their own untimed sprint around the park. Trophies go to top age-group finishers, and the event draws military runners and local running groups alongside families.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at a local brewery in Hampstead, with race-morning pickup and registration also available at the park. Two parking lots serve the venue, one paved near the main entrance and one gravel closer to the lower end of the park, with volunteers directing traffic.
