About the Halloween Howl 5K & 1K

The race takes place at Little Mulberry Park, entering from the Fence Road gate near a state highway. The course is in a park setting, and the event doubles as a fundraiser for a canine rescue organization, with all entry fees going directly to the cause. Costumes are encouraged, and there is a judged costume contest spanning all ages and their dogs.

Packet pickup is available the evening before at the park pavilion, with race-morning pickup opening before the first wave. Dogs are welcome on leash, current on vaccines and wearing an ID tag. There is an award ceremony after the race wraps up.
