About the Halloween 5K 4 Hope and Parkinson's Fun Walk
The race starts and finishes at a middle school, which gives the morning a familiar, open feel with plenty of space to spread out. Chip timing keeps the results accurate, and cash prizes and gift certificates go to the top overall finishers as well as age division winners.
Registration opens well before the gun, so there is time to sort out your bib and warm up without rushing. The Parkinson's Fun Walk runs alongside the timed race, so the start area has a mix of runners and walkers gathering together before things get going.
