About the 20th Annual Guthrie Sayre Turkey Trot 5K

The course runs through the streets of the Athens and Sayre Boroughs, starting and finishing in front of a historic theater. The route is flat throughout, which draws a wide range of paces. A kids' fun run goes off before the main event, so the morning has an unhurried, holiday-morning feel before the field lines up.

Early packet pickup runs the evening before the race at a building in a nearby plaza. Race-morning pickup is available outside the theater before the start. The kids' fun run has a raffle drawing under the theater marquee, so there is some activity worth arriving early for even if you are running the main event.
