About the Grinch Fun Run
The course runs along the Ohio Riverfront in downtown Newburgh, with river views the whole way. Distance options range from a short kids dash up to a timed run, so families tend to show up together. A town Grinch character works the course, stopping for photos and generally causing trouble in the best way. Holiday costumes are a big part of the morning, and most people lean into it.
The race is organized by Historic Newburgh, Inc., and the downtown riverfront setting gives it a sense of place that a parking-lot start does not.
