Greenville, SC
The half marathon runs point-to-point from a neighboring town into downtown Greenville, losing elevation the whole way. Much of the route follows the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a paved path that threads through the trees along an old rail corridor. Both distances finish on a stage at the Peace Center, right in the heart of downtown, with the city around you rather than a parking lot.
