About the 2026 Green Family YMCA Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile
The race starts and finishes at Green Memorial Stadium on Thanksgiving morning, which gives it a particular feel: families in turkey hats, breath visible in the cold, the smell of a holiday breakfast still ahead. The shorter distance goes off first, then the longer course follows. Both routes stay in the area around the stadium.
Packet pickup runs for several weeks before race day at the Green Family YMCA on Massillon Road, with hours spread across every day of the week. Race-morning pickup is available at the stadium, but it closes before the first start. Parking is at the middle school lot nearby; the stadium lot stays closed, and a few streets in the area restrict traffic once the races begin.

The 2026 Green Family YMCA Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
