About the Zoar Merry Miles
The course winds through a historic village decorated for Christmas, mixing road and trail as it passes a garden, crosses an iron bridge, and dips through wetlands before climbing back into the village. There are a few moderate hills, and some stretches of trail are narrow with tree roots underfoot, so the footing asks for a little attention.
Dogs on a fixed leash are welcome on the course. At the finish, there are cookies, soup, hot chocolate, and fruit waiting.

The Zoar Merry Miles has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
