About the Grand Prairie Cinco De Mayo 10K & 5K
The race starts and finishes at a recreation complex in Grand Prairie. Runners choose between a shorter or longer distance, and the course runs through the surrounding area. Age group awards go deep across the divisions, so there is real competition to be had if you are chasing a podium spot.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the same venue, with race-morning pickup available as well. A DJ is set up at the start area, and vendors are on site after the race. Photos are included at no extra charge, which is a nice touch for a Cinco de Mayo morning.

The Grand Prairie Cinco De Mayo 10K & 5K has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
