About the Grand Prairie Turkey Trot 5K

The course is flat throughout, which makes it a straightforward morning for anyone showing up on Thanksgiving. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome, with a request to start toward the back. There is a youth fun run for younger kids on a separate, shorter course, so families with children of different ages can both participate.

Pre-race packet pickup is at a local nutrition shop the evening before the race. Race-morning pickup opens at the start location before the warm-up begins. Parking is free. Sweet potato and pumpkin pie are available at the finish line after you cross.
