About the Gourdy's Pumpkin Run: Phoenix
The course runs through downtown Phoenix and stays flat throughout. It is open to all paces, and the fall timing means temperatures are usually reasonable for the desert. The race benefits Girls on the Run, so the crowd skews toward families and first-timers, but plenty of regulars show up too.
After finishing, there is apple cider and a pumpkin to pick out at a dedicated redemption area near the finish. Packet pickup happens on race morning at the venue, and you will need a photo ID or proof of registration to collect your bib.
