About the Good Samaritan 5K Run
The course starts in Uptown Greenville near a local café on Evans Street, then heads toward the Town Commons before turning back through downtown streets that pass alongside a university campus. You can run it straight through as a standard road race, or take on the cross training version, which adds coached exercise stations spaced out along the route, with weights scaled to your level.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at Hope of Glory Ministries. Race morning check-in is under a tent in the back parking lot off Evans Street. Public lots, parking decks, and side streets nearby all have space on race morning. A post-race party follows after finishers come in.

The Good Samaritan 5K Run has been held every year since at least 2014. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
