The course runs entirely on grass at John Hunt Cross Country Park, an established cross-country venue. The footing is well-maintained and smooth underfoot, so it runs faster than a typical trail race despite being off pavement. The whole thing happens after dark, with glow elements built into the experience.

Packet pickup is available ahead of race day at a local running store, with a second opportunity at the park itself on the evening before. The race recommends the earlier pickup, and race-day pickup at the park is also available before the start.
