The course winds through the streets of Glen Rock on a holiday morning, finishing before the town parade begins. That timing is intentional: runners who finish can stay and watch the parade from the sidewalk, so the morning has a natural second act. The race benefits a local organization that maintains a memorial in town and funds scholarships in memory of Glen Rock residents lost in the attacks.
