About the Giraffe Gallop 5k/10k
This is a women's and girls' race with a giraffe theme, and runners are encouraged to show up in giraffe print or safari gear. There are distance options for adults and a separate short dash for younger kids. The atmosphere leans festive, with a glitter station, a bib bedazzle station, temporary tattoos, vendors, and photo opportunities all set up at the race site.
Race-day check-in opens well before the first wave goes off, so there is no need to rush. Packet pickup may also be available the day before, though the exact location is confirmed closer to race day. Awards go deep into age groups and are handed out on-site, so stick around after you finish and check your results before you leave.
