About the Irving Turkey Trot

The course runs through the Las Colinas Urban Center and traces the edge of Lake Carolyn before finishing at a large outdoor concert venue. It is a road race with a flat urban feel, open water along part of the route, and a proper post-race party on the plaza with free beer, food, and live entertainment waiting at the end.

Parking is in a garage right next to the venue, which makes the start and finish area easy to get in and out of. The race benefits the Irving Schools Foundation, so the field tends to draw people who have a local connection to the cause.
