About the Ghost & Goblins Beer Mile
This one is held at Dirtbag Ales brewery in Hope Mills, which means the beer is coming straight off the tap next door. The format is a beer mile: run a lap, drink a beer, repeat until done. Costumes are expected, the pace is entirely your own, and there is a keg carry relay on the side if running is not enough.
The brewery grounds include an athletic field, a dog area, and swing sets, so there is room to spread out before and after. Non-drinkers run the same course with water instead. Everyone needs to be signed in before the start, and the competitive heat goes first, with open runners following behind.
