About the 9th Annual Garland Guzzler 0.5K Run
The course loops Garland City Square, starting in front of City Hall and heading south before turning west past a food truck park. There is a "water" station at the halfway point. Runners can take on an obstacle course section or skip it for a straightforward lap. The route is short by design, and the whole thing is done before you know it.
Packet pickup runs at a local smokehouse and brewery near the square in the days before the race, with the Garland Visitor's Center also open as an option. Day-of pickup is available during check-in. After the race, Intrinsic Beer Garden serves post-race drinks, with live music and bar games rounding out the morning.
