About the Galveston Island Turkey Trot

The course runs out and back along the Galveston Seawall, with the Gulf on one side the whole way. It is flat road with open sky above and water views throughout. Costumes are welcome, and the post-race gathering takes place at Menard Park behind the recreation center where the race begins and ends.

Packet pickup happens the evening before the race at a local running store in Galveston. Race-morning pickup is also available at Menard Park before the start. The store can hand out packets for other members of your group, so you do not all need to show up separately.
