About the Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown
The Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown links three separate races across Tucson into one series, each staged in a different part of the city. One race runs through a saguaro-filled stretch of the Tucson Mountains; another starts where A-Mountain meets the western edge of downtown. The distances range from a short run up to a half marathon, so participants often build toward the longer events over the course of the year.
A portion of every entry fee goes directly to the BEYOND Foundation, the series' named beneficiary. The races honor Gabe Zimmerman, and the Triple Crown format is designed around training across the seasons rather than showing up for a single morning.
