About the FUN FIT 5K / 10K & Hybrid 5K
The race takes place at Pompano Air Park, which gives the course an open, flat character you do not often find at road races. The Hybrid option breaks the route into segments, with participants stopping every half mile to complete a round of bodyweight exercises, things like burpees, lunges, and air squats, before moving on.
Packet pickup runs through the week before the race at Runners Depot locations in Davie and Fort Lauderdale, with a midday cutoff at the end of that window. Race-day pickup and registration are also available at the Air Park. Parking is in the Galuppi's lot at the south end.
