Pompano Beach, FL
The course runs on an actual airport runway, which makes this one unlike most road races. The surface is flat and wide open, with no shade and long sightlines in every direction. It benefits Broward Children's Center, which serves infants, children, and young adults with developmental and medical needs. The atmosphere reflects that purpose.
