About the Fruit Cove Fostering Hope 5K and Fun Run
The course heads south from Fruit Cove Baptist Church along the state road into Julington Creek Plantation, then turns back the same way. It is a road race on a certified course, so the distance is exact and your finish time is professionally timed. Awards go deep into the age groups, and the fun run finishes before the awards ceremony begins.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the church, with race-morning pickup available as well. There is food and drink at the finish area. The race is part of a broader weekend centered on foster care and adoption support, so the crowd at the church tends to include a lot of families.
