About the Frosty Five: 5K Costume Fun Run

The course runs through Pearsall Park, near the Freewheel Bike Park, on what sounds like a casual, flat route through a public park. Holiday costumes are the norm here, and dogs are welcome on the course. The event supports Street to Feet, a local nonprofit that uses running to serve people experiencing homelessness, and donations of athletic shoes and gear are encouraged at the start.

Parking is in the main Pearsall Park lot, with overflow spots a short walk to the west. Arriving early gets you closer. Runners signed up for the timed option pick up packets at the E-Dragon Productions tent before the start. The untimed fun run has no packet, so those folks can walk straight to the start area, which is a short warm-up walk from the lot.
