About the Friday Night Lights 5K & Festive Fun Run

The route runs through a winter lights festival on a university campus, so the course is lined with holiday displays the whole way. It happens after dark, which is the point: the lights are the scenery. There is a shorter fun run around the festival grounds and a longer 5K option, both starting from the Campus Center.

Check-in is inside the Campus Center before the runs begin, and the campus parking lots on West Georgia Drive serve as the main spots to leave your car. Pizza is available afterward in the same building, with cheese, pepperoni, and veggie options. Outfit awards are part of the evening, so dressing up is encouraged.
