About the Freeze For Food
Freeze for Food is held at Vilas Park in Madison, with both a shorter and a longer distance option starting from the park shelter. The courses run through the park and surrounding area. This race doubles as a food drive, and there is a collection bin at the shelter for non-perishable donations and grocery bags on race day.
Early bib pickup happens the evening before at a local running store. Race-day pickup is also available at the shelter. The race benefits Open Doors for Refugees, and volunteers are part of how the whole morning runs.
