The Freedom Run is an evening road race through Simpsonville, routed on flat streets near Heritage Park. It runs at dusk, which gives it a different feel from a morning race. The event is tied to a block party, so there is music and local vendors in the mix before and after the run.
Packet pickup and the block party setup happen on site at Heritage Park. Wellness activations are scheduled around the run itself, and local vendors stay through the post-race stretch, so there is reason to hang around after you cross the finish.
