About the Freaky 5K & Kids Trick or Treat 1/4 mile Trot

The course starts and finishes in a town parking lot on Wantagh Avenue, and the organizer bills it as flat and fast. Halloween costumes are part of the deal, with prize categories for adults and kids alike, so expect some memorable race-day outfits alongside the more competitive runners. Cash prizes go to the top finishers, with a masters division and a wheelchair division as well.

Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at the foundation's center on Wantagh Avenue, with additional pickup at the start area on race morning. Bibs should be worn on the front of your torso so finish-line photos are searchable by bib number. Post-race refreshments are on hand after you cross.
