About the Fox Trot 5K & 1Mile Bark in the Park
The course runs through Fair Hill Nature Center, a preserve in the hilly terrain of northeastern Elkton. Expect real elevation changes on the trails rather than a flat road loop. Dogs are welcome on the shorter distance, which makes for a different kind of morning than a typical road race.
Parking is in a covered bridge lot just across from the Nature Center. Race-morning registration opens well before the start, so late arrivals can still get sorted. The event benefits the Nature Center's environmental education programs for local schoolchildren.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
