About the Footprints Forever 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

The course runs at Pointe Marie along River Road, with open surroundings that feel more park-like than urban. The race supports families who have lost a child, and that purpose is woven into the morning itself. A remembrance gathering happens after the run wraps up, and most people stay for it.

Packet pickup is available the evening before at Pointe Marie, near a small coffee shop on the property, which is worth doing to skip the race-morning line. Parking is in the casino lot on River Road. After the race there is music, food, and inflatables for kids.
