About the Fly High Max/ Stop the Hazing 5K
The race supports the Max Gruver Foundation, which works to educate students and families about the dangers of hazing after the Roswell teen's death in a fraternity hazing incident. The course is a mostly flat loop, so the terrain is forgiving and the effort is steady throughout.
Lines at registration on race morning can run long, so arriving early is worth it. Packet pickup is available the day before as well as on race morning, which helps spread out the crowd a bit.
