About the Florida Tech Homecoming
The course runs through a university campus, which keeps it shaded and scenic in a way that a road race through traffic does not. The route is short and suits a range of paces, and because it is tied to homecoming week, the crowd has a reunion energy to it, alumni mixing with students and local runners.
Packet pickup runs the day before at a local running store, with an option to pick up at the start site on race evening before the gun. The event is capped, so early registration matters.
