About the Fleet Feet Albany's 24-Hour Fight Against Hunger
This is a round-the-clock event built around a short loop course that runners repeat as many times as they like. The proceeds go to the Regional Food Bank, so the laps add up to something beyond mileage. Segments shift as the hours pass, moving from afternoon into a glow-in-the-dark stretch, then a sunrise push, giving the event a different feel depending on when you show up.
The race is hosted by Fleet Feet Albany, so the start area has that store's infrastructure behind it. Raffle entries accumulate with each lap, with prizes drawn from running brands and local businesses. You can run a handful of laps or grind through the night; there is no minimum beyond showing up.
