About the Flamingo Flyers 5k
The course runs through a park called Turkey Roost, looping out past screened shelters and a campground before a U-turn and a return pass by the start area. The route is mostly straight with gradual turns, and there are several aid stations along the way with water and restrooms. It finishes back at Turkey Roost after a second loop out and back.
Parking is at Sunset Pavilion. Packet pickup runs for several days before the race at an address in Copperas Cove, with water and sports drinks available at the start and finish area on race morning.
