About the Flamingo 5K
The course runs along Siesta Key Beach, so the surroundings are hard to beat: open water, sand, and the kind of light you get early on a coastal morning. The route is flat by nature of where it sits. The race also carries a purpose, raising funds for people in the area affected by breast cancer.
Packet pickup is offered the evening before at a venue the organizers arrange each year. Race-morning pickup opens on-site at the Sea Turtle Pavilion at Siesta Key Beach. Parking lots closest to the pavilion are marked D and E, so that is where to aim.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
