About the Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon
The course runs through Johns Creek on terrain that is mostly flat but not entirely, which is honest for North Georgia. It is a loop, so you return to roughly where you started. Several distance options are available, from a short run to a half marathon, and a virtual option exists for those who cannot make it in person. Water stations are spaced out along the route.
Packet pickup opens race morning about an hour before the start, in the parking lot at the start area. The organizers suggest arriving well before the start rather than cutting it close, partly because Thanksgiving morning can be cold. Bibs can also be mailed ahead if you want to skip the morning line entirely.
