About the First Annual Fairy Stone 5K
The course runs on paved road through Fairy Stone State Park, rolling through the woods with enough hills to keep it honest. Fairy costumes are encouraged, so do not be surprised to see wings on the course. The park itself is the draw, and there is plenty of it to explore once you are done running.
Packet pickup happens the evening before and again on race morning, both times in the upper beach parking lot inside the park. A mobile coffee truck is on site through the end of race activities, which makes the post-race stretch considerably more pleasant.
