About the Finish Line Festival 1 Mile
The course runs through downtown Terre Haute as the opening event of a championship weekend. The mile is quick and flat through the city center, and separate heats give kids a chance to run the same course as the adults. Food trucks, vendor booths, and a live DJ fill the surrounding streets throughout the evening.
The race sits inside a broader street festival, so the start area is already alive with music and activity when runners arrive. Expect crowds well beyond the typical race-day crowd, with visitors from across the country in town for the weekend's collegiate competition.
