About the 7th Annual Fight Cancer Run @ Mercedes Benz
The race is held at Wiregrass Ranch High School and centered on breast cancer awareness, with survivors present on the course and a live DJ keeping the start area energetic. The route is a standard road distance with a kids fun run alongside it, drawing school groups, running clubs, stroller crews, and plenty of people who are there to walk as much as run.
There are no chip times and no age group awards, so the atmosphere skews toward participation over competition. Post-race has music and a dance contest rather than a traditional finish-line spread. Packet pickup details are tied to the school venue, and free registration is available for the kids division.
